remodel of a 2400 square foot home made of authentic double adobe
construction.
This older home had a congested floor plan, outdated finishes, and old
infrastructure. Transforming this old home into a handsome Santa Fe home
with modern amenities created a warm, “Tuscan” flavor while respecting
the existing “Territorial” style and historical ambiance.
Sophisticated rheostat controlled lighting now provides a dramatic
nightscape while skylights and opened walls yield warm sunlit spaces
highlighting new stone and tile finishes and enhancing the extensive use
of natural materials.
