Commercial Remodel under $500,000
The Emerson is a fairly
new 20-story apartment building in Oak Park, IL. A fire occurred on the
20th floor and a tremendous amount of water damage was present in the
building, from floors 20 – 6, due to the sprinkler system running for a
prolonged period of time, as building
management could not locate the shutoff valve. Water damages were also
present on the 6th level affecting the social room, fitness and yoga
rooms, common bathrooms, common hallway, and apartments.
This project had a
strong sense of urgency, due to the sheer volume of the units and
tenants being displaced. From inspection, to water mitigation, to
reconstruction, JCR completed this job in a period of just over 2
months!
