The homeowners purchased a beautiful
lakeside home several years ago, but the existing kitchen was very dark
and did not create the open, inviting feel they desired, nor did the
layout cater to their cooking and entertaining style. By moving
appliance locations, shifting the island, and trading desk space for a
bar area with wine storage, we were able to maximize functions that much
better suited the homeowner’s lifestyle. By mixing a variety of textures
in this space, including stone, glass, wood, and metal, the end result
was an updated, modern, comfortable, and functional kitchen.
