The intent of the
renovation project at 90 Parade Hill Lane was to update the basement and
to transform it into a brighter and more inviting family playroom and
mirror the finishes of the balance of the residence.
The new custom barn doors updated the look and improved the aesthetic in
the space and make the room more modern and inviting. Strategies used
included the use of LED lighting, a contemporary geometric design in the
carpet, brighter hardware and crisp contrasting paint colors in a
contemporary color palette. From overseas to the US – it was a success.
