This 1950s kitchen needed
a new updated look. A previous remodel had updated the rest of the house
and the kitchen was all that was left of the original design. The new
design added almost 26 sq. ft. of new counter space. The new
pre-finished cabinet as well as the updated lighting and accessories
bring the kitchen up to date with the rest of the house. The owners had
accumulated 3X6 limestone subway tile, which was used for the
backsplash. The new layout has worked well for gatherings as large as
forty high school kids as well as smaller, more intimate occasions.
