This transitional kitchen
remodel features a design that is modern and eclectic without feeling
disjoined from the rest of the traditional home. Custom cabinetry is
painted white on the perimeter with a contrasting island featuring coal
stain and turned legs. To warm up the white we incorporated walnut
floating shelves, crackled glass gray tiles, and new countertops. We
enjoyed taking this already large kitchen with oak cabinets and Formica
countertops to a stunning gathering space that this family will enjoy
for many years of making meals, messes, and memories.
