Prior
to moving into their newly purchased home in Portland, the clients knew
the home was in desperate need of a design makeover and renovations but
unaware of just how much would have to be done for the vision they had
in mind.
Their desires included:
opening up the kitchen and updating the 3 bathrooms with a modern 70's
retro twist, salvage & Sandblast existing T&G ceiling's, use old growth
beams and new integrated lumber, update all the bedrooms, sky bridge &
bonus/office over the garage, make the fireplace a focal point of the
first floor living area, open up the room to the living room, kitchen
and dining areas, move the laundry upstairs near the bedrooms and
upgrade all mechanical systems.
