The owners of this
1967 brick ranch house wanted to use green materials and practices in a
whole-house remodeling project that included both floors of their home.
A vertical closed loop geothermal system was installed, as well as
eighty 4’ X 2’ photovoltaic panels on the south-facing roof of the main
house and the garage. Excess electricity generated is sold back to the
utility company.
