The client liked the
layout of her kitchen and did not want to gut it. They were looking for
a simple Japanese feeling. White wash maple was chosen to blend with the
existing white appliances. Under-cabinet, low-voltage lighting, as well
as track lighting was added. A new phone cabinet was built, with
laminated rice paper glass. The same glass was used in the wall cabinets
to the left and right of the sink. This is exactly what the client
wanted, but more than she expected.
