The
client’s goal was to take a home with predominantly Santa Fe detailing
and make it “feel like Northern Italy”. Budget was of paramount
importance from day one, and as the design progressed the budget
grew…prompting the team to stop and evaluate each detail, identifying
each as a “must have a “would-like-to-have” or a “could-live-without”.
Throughout the process, care was given to design aesthetics,
site-specific challenges, total functionality and how each affected the
budget. The accompanying photos illustrate a wonderfully successful, on
budget, design-build project.
