This house was badly damaged by fire. The entire upper floor was damaged by fire and the lower floor was damaged by water and smoke.  The owners did not want to expand the house during repair, but did want some upgrades to the existing house. The result was a beautifully restored house. The exterior has all new siding, windows, trim and gutters. There is a new energy efficient boiler; hot water heater and heat recovery system in the attic with automatic set back thermostats as required by Energy Star rules. Open cell and closed cell spray foam insulation were also used.
