The existing kitchen was
cramped and too small for the home. Bearing walls were cutting this
kitchen in half. We removed the bearing walls and hid the beams, one of
which is in the arch. With somecollaboration of our teams we came up
with this design. The arched beam defined the kitchen area andallowed
for coffered ceilings. Wood-Mode cabinets, Silestone and Walnut island
top combined withCalcutta marble subway backsplash, Rohl faucet, Subzero
refrigerator, Bluestar oven, Vent-a-hood, andWolf wall
oven/microwave/warming drawer. Together these created an inviting
kitchen.
