The client wanted to
renovate the exterior of their contemporary home to make it more
attractive, address the structural and deferred maintenance items, and
make it more appealing to a larger segment of the home buying market.
The design addressed a minimum of one element on each of the four sides
of the home. Entrance porticos were constructed at the front and rear
entrances, a sunroom was remodeled, trim details were added, structural
failures were corrected, new entry and carriage doors were installed,
and a mixture of siding, board and batten panels and trim were used to
complete the facelift.
