Challenge: Update this
once compartmentalized home in order to accommodate the needs of a young
modern family. Mission accomplished! With the thoughtful use of steel,
more than 1200 sf of open living space was created and is divided by use
and furniture into a new gourmet kitchen, family dining, wet bar, and
living room. The stairs were given new life with a graceful curve and
updated handrail details. The owners' suite was expanded to include a
gracious closet by commandeering an unused formal sitting room on the
front of the home.
