This project, as so many
do, evolved between conception and completion. The original plans for
this neglected lakeside A-frame were just to basically clean it up so it
could be used as a "duck lodge"…no bedrooms, no heat…and don’t worry
about the constant 3" of water in the crawl space. When the potential of
this house finally dawned on the owners, all caution was cast to the
wind and the budget was increased five fold. Now, instead of a weekend
"duck lodge" this has become the primary residence for these extremely
happy owners.
