We converted an historic 1940's home into
a group home for functioning adults with developmental disabilities and
their caretakers. We created a safe, comfortable place for residents.
The modern face-lift included whole-house sprinkler system, 60-foot
accessible ramp, front porch, screened back porch, and energy efficient
components; including tank-less water heater. Hallways and entryways
were widened without compromising surrounding spaces, and rooms were
creatively converted to add 3 more bedrooms and an extra bathroom.
Accessibility was a key component in the design of our remodel. The
harmony of practicality and comfort in this home make it truly one of a
kind.
