The Clients wanted to
update and expand their master bathroom and keep the historical aura of
the home. An existing closet, stairwell and a hallway were removed and
new walls were built. Heart pine floors were installed coordinating with
the master bedroom.
We built an elaborate tub surround, shower, and vanity from Italian
Calacatta marble. A large mirror with elaborate trim and lighting
sconces was designed and installed. All bath fixtures were un-lacquered
brass for rapid patina development. To the Client's delight, the
modifications yielded a beautiful updated master bathroom in harmony
with antique building materials and the home's history
