This is the
transformation of a 1960's ranch style lake home into a three story
contemporary showpiece. The roof of the home was removed and the
ceilings throughout the home vaulted from 10 feet to 42 feet. A third
story tower addition with a 42 foot high wall of glass and a second
floor mezzanine with a custom-fabricated steel and glass staircase is
supported by angled, reinforced vertical slabs of concrete. The
interior, in its entirety, including the kitchen, all bedrooms, baths
and living rooms, was remodeled and updated to create an open, flowing
family space.
