This renovation provided an updated
appearance and utility to this grand space, with entirely new surfaces,
appliances, fixtures, finishes and furnishings with minimal structural
modifications. The finished product is a collection of spaces clearly
distinct in their functions but open to each other within the same room.
The kitchen area is defined by the larger scaled, distinctly color
appliance surrounds and island cabinetry, asserting its presence in the
room while encouraging a social interaction from those in the other
spaces. The transformation brings a refined, custom tailored finish to
the most frequently used, multi-function room in this home.
