These
first time homebuyers with a baby on the way, purchased the upper unit
of a duplex in an upscale coastal community. They initially approached
us to remodel their master bath/shower area to create a bathing space
for the baby. After talking further they decided to expand the remodel
to tackle the following:
· Improve the privacy of the
bedrooms as two were in plain sight from the front door.
· Completely update the master
bath.
· Reconfigure the guest bedroom
to include a closet.
· Move the laundry room to a more
private location and include a space for supplies.
· Improve the kitchen layout and
storage capacity.
· Redefine useless spaces at both
ends of the kitchen.
· Provide a safe place to bathe
the baby.
This home feels brand new
and offers more space for this family of three. With a thoughtful
3-phased remodeling plan we were able to deliver all of the client’s
wish list items by creatively working within existing space. We
maximized every inch of space and created customized solutions, which
included a room-within-a-room, a built-in banquette, and a smaller but
better functioning kitchen with more storage. Careful selections from
tile design, countertops and paint colors give this home a cool and
relaxed coastal vibe
