Keeping to the authenticity of this 1891 home was a concern for the homeowners, but they still desired modern comforts that would improve their quality of life. A delicate porcelain backsplash balances veined granite countertops, designed around the beauty and nostalgia of a Heartland Vintage range and oven.

Dura Supreme Highland Cabinetry was treated with hand-applied detailing to replace the original 1891 cabinetry, and custom-sized to increase total storage capacity and fit modern appliances. A handcrafted pass-through designed to show off the client’s fine china was custom-built by project carpenters to physically and visually open the space.
