This design solution was
an interesting yet somewhat minimalistic approach with plenty of room
for relaxation, entertainment, and personal style. After being raised to
a more proportional level over the kitchen, the ceiling soffit provides
an architectural flare that drastically changed how the room was
previously isolated. With the new full wall cabinets and refrigerator
kept to one side, the opposite wall creates an openness between the
kitchen and dining room that remains connected by a bridge of
asymmetrical floating display shelves showcasing unique artwork that the
homeowners adore.
