We were able to give the client exactly what they had asked for, a much more enjoyable basement area to relax that also had a separate bathroom with a shower and then dedicated work area/desk.

We improved the overall flow and function of the space by tucking the built desk area in-between the bathroom wall and the opposite basement wall to create a wall to wall desk. Then building in a electric fireplace under the steps for added ambiance to the space. The rustic shiplap wall behind the tv really created a pop of texture and warmth of colors.
