On a trip to Europe, the clients experienced the joys of a Finnish sauna in their hotel bathroom and wanted the same experience at home. Our CKBR designer discovered that some European home saunas feature glass walls vs. solid walls. The custom cedar sauna with two glass walls was built in the former shower space. A relocated curbless shower with marble patterned porcelain tile, penny round tile on the floor and niche back, add a luxe feel. The jetted tub was jettisoned for a smaller soaking tub and moved to accommodate a double vanity featuring a tower with reeded glass doors. They also wanted the comforts of heated bathroom floor. Custom framed mirrors add a special touch.
