Unforeseen family
circumstances required remodeling a bathroom to ensure the safety of the
residents. A key element was easy access into and round the room. A wall
separating the sink and toilet was removed and grab bars were installed
to offer stability. With health and welfare in mind, a curbless shower
became the focal point. As a safety precaution, the shower was equipped
with numerous features to assist the user in showering independently
including grab bars, folding bench seat, and dual shower heads. The
final result was a beautiful bathroom that can be used by anyone and a
design that integrates function and usability.
