Over the years we have helped the
homeowners of this 1968 ranch home remodel their home to suite their
lifestyle.  To further the Asian influence in the backyard, the
homeowners wanted to add a small tea house and deck to house the pump
mechanics for the nearby water fall and coy pond.

The tea house structure and deck were
both surrounded by river rock to complete the Asian feel the owners were
going for and to assist in water drainage.

The teahouse itself is clad in a stucco
finish with a heavy texture with bamboo shoots for window and door trim
on the exterior of the teahouse.

The interior was finished with a clear
cedar plank giving a natural appearance on the interior. Instead of
using a typical window, a double wall bronze polycarbonate was used.

		With this small project
complete, the homeowners are slowly completing their vision for their
		backyard oasis.
