2003 Best Kitchen Remodel Under
$40,000
This kitchen is part of a
50 year old bungalow. The previous owner was a concrete contractor who
added 200 sq. ft. to the back of the home to house this kitchen, which
was really more like a bomb shelter. An 8 foot window unit was added
along with two additional windows on either side of the range. A 6 foot
French Door was also installed, as well as 20 additional light fixtures
to open-up and brighten this dismal space. The floor was leveled and
Sierra Madre hardwood pine installed. The transformation of this
concrete box is incredible.
