This project transformed an historic 1890s
home with a focus on blending traditional charm and modern
functionality. Initially planned as a large addition, the project was
scaled back due to permitting delays; we were challenged to redesign
within the original footprint while incorporating the clients desires
for contemporary home features like an open layout and spacious
entertaining areas. We prioritized preservation of the home s historic
character while seamlessly integrating smart home features, energy
efficiency and outdoor access. The result is a harmonious home with an
open floorplan that respects the house s history, offering a perfect
blend of old and new.
