A home completely
transformed from contemporary to classic in a gambrel style. The family
who purchased this once modern style summer home was looking for a
classic Hampton’s style, and a place worthy of accommodating visiting
family and friends. Initially the house was completely demolished,
leaving only the existing garage to work with. The remaining structure
featured entirely rounded corners, which were not intended for the new
design. The scheme of the exterior was to obtain the quintessential
Hamptons façade, keeping it maintenance-free. The homeowners wanted a
less traditional look for the interior, but incorporating sleek accents
for a clean and up to date look. A chandelier given by the client’s
father was the focal point of this magnificent renovation. Holding its
sentimental value, it was updated to fit the theme of the house. The
family now has a beautiful summer home, truly unique and tailored
specifically to them. A place where they can get away and share with
their loved ones.
