This 1970’s ranch with
brick veneer base and vertical siding was remodeled by Derrick
Architecture in 2015. They worked within the existing footprint of the
house, with a 14’ deep expansion and 8’ deep porch added to the front of
the house with planning for a future screen porch and paver patio at the
rear. An entirely new second floor was added, moving the master suite
and adding 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, increasing the conditioned space from
1530 to 3590 SF. The 70’s ranch was turned into an elegant colonial with
traditional design details including a wide front porch with wood
paneled piers and railings, horizontal lap James Hardie siding, new
shuttered windows, a gabled central entrance portico, and gabled dormers
at the attic story.
