The goal was to
completely redesign and remodel the existing space to include a hard
working kitchen and eating area which would work well separately or
together.
The new Kitchen’s "U" shape with lots of continuous counter surface is
an exciting improvement. The undermount stainless steel sink was set to
one side to create work space below the window where they can look into
the backyard. The oven and cooking surface were separated in order to
lower the cook top 3" to a more comfortable height for the 5’6" users.
Curved lines were employed on the counter top’s edges defining and
leading into the dining area increasing interest and flow.
