The owners of this residence had a taste for the unique and a love for contemporary as well as traditional items. Above all, the owners loved their book collection and wanted a unique way to display and celebrate their many volumes, as well as the interesting objects they have collected throughout the years.

The final design reflects the owner’s love of old and new. Upon close inspection, one may realize that none of the shelving touched anything else, including the other cases, which creates a floating look. Meanwhile, the ladder adds a touch of antique library charm, but with contemporary design. The ladder was finished in oak to match the rest of the residence with matte aluminum hardware.
