Prior to its renovation,
this house was included on Arlington County’s list of blighted
properties. In addition to its dilapidated appearance, the house leaked
and had no functioning utilities. The renovation corrected each of these
issues and made the house more appealing to a contemporary family. The
renovation includes a new family room addition, an enlarged and open
kitchen, a large master suite addition, a finished basement and
bathrooms on every level. The finishes, materials, and architectural
details used throughout the interior and exterior of the house are
consistent with the original, and with the neighborhood, while also
providing modern conveniences.
