This home was purchased
by our client for its location and size, with the desire to re-tailor
its spaces to better-suit the family’s needs and aesthetic interests.
The
previously-claustrophobic main entry hall was opened-up to become more
spacious, interesting and welcoming.
The project wanted to be
a contemporary make-over of a traditional rural home. Yet the owner
wished to include some warmth, which is not always common in modern
design.
