This
cottage is a Bungalow Craftsman built circa 1923. The project was total
interior/exterior updating. The goal was to add storage, maintain the
home’s historical accuracy and implement green construction techniques
into the project.
To maintain the home’s historical accuracy, the designer and contractor
created custom cabinets, custom make trim moldings, custom doors, custom
hardware, custom made cornices and soffits, half round gutters and round
downspouts.
Recycled materials for countertops, smart framing and minimal waste
removal allowed for an environmentally conscious build out.
