Lewis
& Weldon was hired to create the same historic consistency to the master
bath, as we had so carefully carried out in the rest of the homes
details. the previously updated master Bath was lacking any touch of
elegance or detail and the client wished to have a more upscale feel in
the space. a few of the things we were able to include in the new design
were a makeup station, separate his and her vanity areas, steam shower
and a Jacuzzi tub, for a complete spa like experience.
Keeping with the consistency that was
used in the rest of the home, we started by choosing historic paint
colors and wall covering to accent different areas of the space. We
designed and built custom decorative mirror treatments using crown
molding and lighting attributes carried over from other parts of the
residence. Classic Crema Marfil marble was chosen for the countertops
and flooring with polished nickel hardware used for the decorative
cabinetry hardware and lighting.
The
end result is a wonderfully historic home, that feels and looks like it
had in days gone by.
