This project started out as a simple
remodel for the homeowner, but after finding a less than accommodating
structure and foundation from the original 1910 home it turned into a
complete tear down and rebuild. The client, used the exact footprint and
exterior styling/design from the previous home to keep it as close to
its historic heritage as possible. As the first phase of the project was
coming to an end, (framing, basic exterior details, windows and roofing)
the client's builders decided to close the doors on their business
partnership. With a void in the client's building relationship, the
homeowner contacted Lewis and Weldon and asked us to take over design,
production and finishing details on what was left of the exterior and
all the interior details
