The owners sought to
transform the main living area of this dated home into a contemporary,
light-filled space with an open floor plan. The main objectives
included…a strong connection between interior and exterior, a flow of
open space to function for entertaining and everyday use, and the
incorporation of natural materials and finishes to complement a sleek,
modern style. A large deck, accessed through a series of NanaWall doors,
opens the house to the outdoors. A pass-through bar at the kitchen
highlights the indoor/outdoor connection, and an open floor plan design,
incorporating natural materials, culminate in this exceptional project.
