This concrete building has exposed, curved concrete walls, the result of reworking original 1928 grain towers into 12 floors of residential Condominiums in 1983. This outdated master bath, with a single sink, one small mirror, carpeted floor, shallow tub, and poor lighting needed help. Despite remodeling restrictions, new white plumbing fixtures, sconces, painted vanity/linen cabinets, wall and floor tiles, and the marble countertop, all serve to brighten this soft contemporary room. The decorative marble tile border in the shower, and used at the vanity splash, also create a spark of visual geometric interest in this fresh bath.
