This is a remodel of an existing 1950’s rambler kitchen. The interior kitchen wall was removed and now opens to the existing living room/dining room. The doorway from the front entrance into the kitchen was framed over, and the home’s exterior kitchen wall was removed to incorporate the old porch which was converted into a 4-season sitting room. LVL engineered beams were installed at both openings to carry support loads. A new open and inviting kitchen layout shows new paint, stainless steel appliances, hardwood flooring, cherry cabinets, and granite countertops giving this young couple a fresh and open space.
