After a small fire, this
condominium in Uptown Dallas was transformed from a dated unit into a
very functional space with a contemporary, urban design. The homeowners
focused on updating the kitchen, creating extra space in the loft for a
small office area, and increasing walk-in closet space upstairs. The
kitchen received new rift cut white oak cabinets, new stainless-steel
appliances, and a new design to optimize flow and storage. The upstairs
loft was extended out to create a small office with electricity,
lighting, and a cabinet. A walk-in closet was added upstairs to make the
area a more functional bedroom.
