The new tenants of this
historic fire station and well-known Rhode Island restaurateurs hired
Red House Design Build to fully realize, coordinate, and bring to life
their envisioned Barcelona-inspired restaurant, “Otra.”
The project began with the removal of fixtures left by the previous
tenants and resulted in the buildout of a sophisticated European eatery
in Downtown Providence.
The new space includes an expansive bar and plancha grill; an elegant
bar-back with integrated lighting, antique mirrors, and glass shelving;
and folding doors installed in the stunning granite archways, which
fully open for a unique and al fresco dining experience..
