Remodeling this 1915 home
in Fairfax, Virginia included expanding the kitchen and creating an open
design that would "bring the outside in", remodeling a powder room on
the first floor, and reworking the second floor to provide a master
suite with his & hers baths, a dressing room and an abundance of closet
space. Attention to details such as multi-piece crown mouldings, paneled
cabinetry, the arched doorway and intricate tile work in the baths
showcases the craftsmanship of the remodeling. This restoration proficed
a modernized home that meets the needs of the homeowner while in keeping
with its’ historical period.
