The scope of the project
was to remove an old porch and large deck, replacing them with a new
entry porch. The new spacious front porch, with room to sit, greatly
enhanced the curb appeal and usability of the home. The new windows
improved energy efficiency, altered the exterior appearance, which was
radically enhanced by the new front entry porch to finally announce that
this is where you enter. Maintenance free products reduce the upkeep
requirements, and this south-facing porch will allow the family to use
it even in the midday summer sun. The effect it has had in resale value
alone cannot be overlooked, and the satisfaction of the owner was
evident even before the project was completed.
