After
unsuccessfully scouring the real estate market, the clients decided to
reinvest in updating the main floor of their home. Challenges for this
project included transitioning the abundant ceiling planes from chaotic
to purposeful. The kitchen was expanded into the unused dining room to
obtain more counter space, storage, and grandeur. Two-toned cabinets
compliment rustic granite countertops. The family room fireplace is
raised and centered, improving the room’s functional aesthetics. The
powder bath houses a carved granite vessel atop marble counters with
glass tile accents. The clients now spend many hours entertaining and
enjoying its improved functionality.
