This
stately 1912 Greek Revival home needed to be treated with respect and
care, preserving the integrity of the original structure while updating
the backyard space with a more functional addition. The homeowners’ goal
was to dramatically improve their outdoor living space, while at the
same time, address some past building choices that had reduced the
gracious quality of the home. By weaving in modern, synthetic materials
inspired from historic details, The Porch Company was able to deliver an
elegant, classic project that will endure in the years to come.
