2003 Best Sunroom
This is a three season
room that is accessible from the home’s terrace. The room is built over
finished space below, and the client insisted upon 2” thick granite
pavers for the flooring. The engineers designed a system of wood trusses
to deal with the weight of the structure, the granite floor, and also
anticipated snow loads on the portion of the structure that extends
beyond the roof. With the gas fireplace, the customers enjoy this space
eight months out of the year.
