2008 Best Sunroom/Conservatory
This exceptional
conservatory is the culmination of over a year of design followed by a
year of construction. It creates a perfect transition from the formal
spaces of the home out to the terrace, gardens and pool. The skeletal
structure was built in England and shipped to the US for re-assembly.
All of the utilities and custom finishes were done on site. These
include specialties like full slab flooring, radiant heat, custom
decorative iron work, and woven wood balcony and stair treads. A truly
unique space, and one that lends itself seamlessly to the existing
Georgian colonial home.
