This ranch style home was
built in the 70’s without a garage and limited privacy in the front. The
client wanted a space for entertaining with privacy and a place to relax
with Santa Fe flair. The addition of an insulated garage serves as a
multifunctional space for storage, work, game room and extra sleeping
for guests while providing a defined space for a courtyard. The garage
door and stucco finish provided the beginning elements for the theme of
the courtyard. Recycled wood was used to create an entrance gate and
headers.
