Residential Interior under $150,000
The owners of this
American Foursquare built in 1910 tasked their contractor with
modernizing their kitchen and bath while maintaining its timeless
design. The contractor gave both rooms a facelift by removing and
replacing countertops, fixtures, hardware, tile and doors, and applying
a fresh coat of paint, including to the existing kitchen cabinets and
master bathtub. The result was a fresh and modern take on a century-old
home, while preserving historic attributes and keeping costs down by
refreshing some existing elements.
